Sean and his husbandly duties

So I bragged yesterday about what a wonderful home nurse my husband was while I was recuperating from the retrieval on Tuesday and after pondering on this incident all day , I have decided that this story is just to humorous not to share.  It would not be a Forey moment without something embarrassing happening to one of us.  On Tuesday while in recovery, I awoke with my wonderful husband at my bedside.  When I finally realized that he was there and that I had not seen or spoken to him since they took us both back for the procedures, I wanted to know how his contribution went.  Here is our conversation:
Me: Did you do your sample?
Sean: Yes.
Me: Did you do okay?
Sean: I guess so, they did your procedure.
Me: Did you look at a magazine?
Sean: No..
Me: Did you watch a video?
Sean: (getting annoyed) No...
Me: You did it all by yourself?  (mind you, my voice is getting louder as we speak and there are 3 other couples in the recovery room with us)
Sean: (quietly and annoyed by my questioning) Yes, I did it all by myself.

I think that I embarrassed my poor husband and not on purpose.  Bless his heart....but he survived and obviously his donation to the cause is working well!!!!

Our retrieval doctor Todd called this morning at 7AM and said that all 8 eggs fertilized nicely and divided into 2 cells just like they are shown here.

Our eggs are right on "track" and we are still on for embryo transfer on Sunday!!!  YIPPEE!!  All of your prayers are working and we appreciate every single one of them!  Keep the prayers going up, we're not to the finish line yet!!!

Love to you all!!!

Freaking hilarious! Can see Sean’s embarrassment in your writing…another great blog entry! Give him a pat on the back from the Gulley’s. Without his donation, you wouldn’t be where you are in the process. You both have made incredible sacrifices, and God recognizes them. Remain strong and confident, and the rest of us will keep the prayers coming. Love you girl, and thanks for the many phone calls and updates! I always love hearing your stories first hand.
