19 Weeks

I was welcomed to my 19th week of a pregnancy with my first nose bleed.  This morning while getting ready for work, I felt something strange going on with my nose.  The feeling of snot dripping down your nose..gross!  So, I grabbed a Kleenex and found that my nose was full of blood.  Never having a nose bleed before, I freaked out a little bit.  (Everything freaks me out right now being pregnant.)  So I went to my trusty pregnancy book, What to Expect When You're Expecting, and it said that nose bleeds do occur during pregnancy and that it is normal.  It told me what to do, but not how to prevent them.  Not completely satisfied with the conclusion, I went to my second trusty resource...sister in law Steph and she assured me that it was normal considering the fact I have had some problems with a cold and sinuses lately, that my nose has been dry with the weather change and the sinuses.  So Mentholatum and I are going to be good friends for a while.  I am not a big fan of nose bleeds, so I will do whatever to prevent another one from occurring.   So this leads me to the fact that I am now 19 weeks.  I am growing everyday it seems like, so the babies must be growing as well.  I have yet to know/feel for certain if I have felt them moving or not.  I have had a few strange feelings going on, but I am just not completely convinced that it is our sweet babies jumbling around in there.  Hopefully we will begin to feel them soon, or at least start to recognize their movement.

Many of you...who do not get to see me very often, have requested an updated photo of me and my growing belly....here it is.  My protective fat layer is growing rapidly that store our sweet babies and you can really tell that I am expanding everyday.  I saw some of my in laws this weekend that I have not seen since finding out we were pregnant and they all seem to think that I am not expecting twins because of my size. I was asked quite often this weekend, "are you sure there are twins in there?  You do not look pregnant to me."  Not sure if that is a compliment that I have not grown much or if it is that I have always had a "protective fat layer" and didn't realize it.  ;0)   I think they were just being the sweet Foreys that they are.  ;0)

I've had nose bleeds, too. And my entire 1st trimester, my ears were stuffed up like I was on a plane! You look great!

Sounds like I have been replaced but am so thankful that you have your trusty source to go to. I know that now your tummy seems so big but you have no idea what big is and I am so looking forward to rubbing your tummy and getting kicked back.

Love you,
MOM ~!~

Wow, you look GREAT girl! I will admit I was one of the many who requested some tummy shots, and I'm so thankful you finally took a new picture. Amazing, I swear! Seriously, it dosen't look like there are 2 babies in there. BTW-mom and I are reading your blog together. She can't figure out how to post comments, ha, but she says "Hi!" Can't wait to see you!
