Surprise Grandparents...We're Having.....

In the event of spreading the good news about the genders of our twins, we decided to surprise the grandparents with personalized bibs to each one from the babies.  After finding out the genders of the babies last Thursday, Steph and I frantically made bibs for each grandparent to reveal the good news!!!  We had 9 bibs to make and very little time to make them.   As most of you know, I am not very good at keeping secrets from my family, so we needed to reveal the news to them asap.  We told our Moms first on Friday evening and they were both so excited.  They both have grandsons and were very excited to have some pink and bows in their lives, so they were thrilled to learn that we would have one of each.  There were lots of laughter, screaming and tears of joy coming from the grandmothers.   Saturday night, we surprised my Dad and Holly at their house with their gift box of bibs.  They were so excited, Dad just lookedat the pictures of each one of them and smile.  Not sure if he was smiling because he was happy that his daughter is having a boy and girl, or if he is just overwhelmed to realize that he is going to have 7 grandchildren after our 2 arrive.  That is a lot of Christmas and birthday for them.  hee!hee!  Sunday night, we surprised Rick and Patti (Sean's Dad and Step-Mom) with the announcement about the twins.  Their reaction was, "We knew it, we knew there would be one of each."  They were thrilled!!!  I think we made 7 grandparents VERY happy this weekend.  Here are some pics that captured the moments of their surprise.   Take a look in our family albums for more photos.  Enjoy!!!!

Yes, we were sooooooo surprised. Even Charlie aka Papa Moose was surprised and thrilled. It was one of the most exciting days of my life. I just hope since Brynlee is going to have so many boys in her life that they don't all gang up on her at once. She is going to be a tough little princess.

Love,
MOM aka Nana
