26 Weeks Ultrasound

Dec. 22 was our 26 week ultrasound and appointment to see how our precious angels are doing. Nana (my Mom) and Grammy (Sean's Mom) both attended the appointment with us today and were able to see their sweet grandtwins. It was very exciting to share our amazing experience with them. The twins were very quiet today. I think they are running low on wiggle room in my belly and are not able to do as many somersaults as before. They are getting big and doing just perfect. They both weigh about 1.14lbs. and are still right on target. The 3 of us look great and are very healthy. Our visit with Dr. Ivey was good. He is pleased with my weight gain, but still thinks that I am small and should see a nutritionist to get some ideas on how to make the most of my 10 small meals a day. I have gained 22 lbs., which sounds like a ton of weight, but he says I still have about 20lbs. to go. YIKES!!!! I feel like a house as it is, cannot imagine 20lbs. more. He measured me and I am measuring at 31 weeks and feels like we should be ready in about 10 weeks, which takes me to 36 weeks. The first week of March is what he is thinking. That is a little earlier then what Sean and I were hoping, but if I make it that long, we will take it!!! I start seeing Dr. Ivey every 2 weeks starting in January and then every week starting the middle of February. Cannot believe we are getting so close. Our babies will be here before know it. Please continue to pray for the health of the babies and myself, we still have a little journey ahead of us. Here are new profiles of the babies. Chance looks like he has Daddy's forehead and and Brynlee looks very small and petite. Let's hope that he is bigger then her in the end. Enjoy!!!

Hi! I am Steph's friend that has twins...a boy and a girl! I found your blog through hers! That is amazing you having only gained 20ish lbs. I gained 55 by the end (34 weeks for me). I am excited for you and I know how you are feeling right now...not comfortable at all!
I will be praying for you and your sweet babies! Having twins is the best and VERY VERY tiring!!
