Making us laugh

I had to share two funny stories with all of you about our sweet angels! Last night, as I am sitting on the couch with my husband holding our very sleepy children, we were sharing a nice quiet conversation for the first time in a few days. We are deep in conversation and not paying any attention to the fact that Brynlee is still awake laying in my arms. All of a sudden, her little head pops up and she is staring at me straight in the eyes with this huge smile on her face. As soon as I acknowledge that I see her, she lays her head back down on my chest and I resume my conversation with Sean. I take my eyes off of her for one second and she immediately pops back up and is smiling in my face again. She does this a couple of times and I realize that she is so trying to get my attention. The expression on her face says, "Mommy, look at me! Pay attention to me, I'm down here!" We were cracking up laughing and of course the more we laughed, the bigger and sweeter her smiles got. I know we rarely have photos of our beautiful "bowhead" smiling, but she smiles ALL OF THE TIME and it has the sweetest smile EVER!!! We decided right then and there, that all Brynlee has to do is smile at Daddy and he will say "yes". So Brynlee and I have lots of scheming to plan to get Daddy to buy more bows and tutus for her. hee!hee! I wish so bad that I would have had the video camera so everyone could see our attention deprived child. It was so funny!!! Her newest thing right now is talking. She LOVES to talk...not sure where she got that from. hee!hee! She has the highest pitched voice and sounds like a dolphin. So we are now calling her the Dolphin Caller. It is so funny and she is so serious when she does it. I am hoping to get a good video of our Dolphin Caller!

She is not the only one keeping us laughing in our household...Chance is turning into a little ham. I think he gets that from the Carnes side of the family. He has the sweetest belly laugh and is laughing non stop. He thinks Mommy and Daddy are so funny and will crack up at any funny noise we make, silly voice we use and lots of Peek-a-Boo. He is so funny! He makes the cutest faces and keeps us laughing. He still has his chubby cheeks and resembles a little turtle. He is funny! His newest thing is SCREAMING in this horrible high pitched loud scream. He sounds like a girl and I swear it is him "talking back" to me. He will scream, I will say something to him and he will just look at me and scream louder. It is so funny....right now anyway. It will not be funny in a few years when he IS talking back to us. We have nicknamed him Triple T (Temper Tantrum Twin). It is a scary look into the future for us. hee!hee!
