9 months and growing!!!!

Our sweet miracles are 9 months old. (they actually turned 9 months on the 10th, but did not have their 9 month check up until today). They are growing so fast, it is scary. Everyone has told me from the beginning, "enjoy it! It goes by so fast." They weren't kiddin'!!! I cannot believe that we will be celebrating their 1 year birthday in just a few short months. I am cherishing every moment I have with them. I may be spoiling them rotten, but I cannot kiss them or hold them enough!!! One day I will wake up and they will not want me to hold them or kiss them anymore. So sad! So what are the twins doing these days? LOTS!!!!!

Brynlee:

• weighing in at 20 lbs. (80%) - WHOA!!
• measuring in at 27.5 (40%)
• wearing mostly 6-9 month clothes and 9 month pajamas
• wears size 3 diapers
• drinks 24oz of formula a day
• eats 7-8 servings of baby food a day plus 2 snacks
• loves Yo Baby yogurt, apple cinnamon puffs, bananas, cheerios, MumMums, and cheese
• loves her veggies and fruit - especially sweet potatoes, carrots, and blueberries
• loves to eat finger foods and feed herself
• has 3 teeth - front top one and front bottom two
• still has a paci, but has cut back a little
• says "ma-ma", "da-da", "ga-ga", and "hi"
• loves to wave "hi" and "bye-bye"
• puts both arms and hands up in the air over her head when we say "Touchdown"
• sits in a "herky" position (one leg straight out and the other leg bent underneath her) Our future cheerleader!!! Just another excuse for Sean to watch football! HA!
• Loves to babble and really loud (wonder where she gets that from?)
• BUSY, BUSY, BUSY little lady
• Crawls EVERYWHERE!!! She is so mobile and is going everywhere. She follows us around the house and is constantly under our feet.
• is pulling up onto everything and is really good at it. will be crawling out of her bed before we know it.
• loves to sing, "This Little Light of Mine", "Patty Cake" and play "Peek a Boo"
• will not sit long enough for me to read a book to her
• Loves to play in the bath and splash water all over the place
• Stands up great and has actually taken a couple of steps. She is so proud of herself when she is standing up
• Always picks on her little brother. She takes toys away from him, laughs when he is crying, is always pulling his hair and sticking her fingers in his eyes and nose. She is very aggressive towards him. Bully little princess! But she loves on him just as much!
• Loves to smile and laugh (except for the camera) and smiles everytime her daddy walks into the room
• She's a Daddy's girl all the way! Her face lights when she sees him
• Alot of times only men can make her smile, especially her Uncle B and Uncle Matt, but she always smiles at her Nana and Aunt Steph!
• her newest thing...spitting with her tongue. Nice right?
  

She is our little handful, but brings a world full of joy to our lives!

Chance:

• weighing in at 18lbs. (10%) - he is our petite one! HA!
• measuring in at 26in. (<3%)>wears size 2 or 3 diapers
• wears 3-6 month clothes and 6 month pajamas
• drinks 24oz a day of formula
• eats 7-8 servings of baby food plus 2 snacks
• loves to feed himself finger foods - cheerios, wheat toast, MumMums, cheese, bananas
• loves his fruits and veggies - his favorites are blueberries, bananas, squash, sweet potatoes, green beans and carrots
• is adjusting so well to a sippy cup and does great with it
• SMILES, SMILES, SMILES - he is ALL smiles and we love it! When they say smiles are contagious, they are talking about my sweet baby boy's smile!
• is scooting everywhere. Hasn't really got the hang of crawling yet, but is very mobile on his belly. He gets on all fours and throws himself forward onto his belly. He gets frustrated at times while Sister is crawling circles around him, but he is beginning to get the desire to crawl.
• Has 4 teeth - front top two, front bottom two - he is a biter!
• loves to scream at the top of his lungs just to hear himself. He will arch his back, squeeze his little butt cheeks together and scream until he is red in the face. It is hilarious!!!
• is standing up pretty good, but gets distracted easily and just falls down. He loves to stand up and is so proud when he does.
• loves to bounce and jump. He loves to jump in his excersaucer and bounces like crazy when standing up.
• is learning to clap when we say "YEAH"!!!!
• loves to play "Patty Cake", "Peek a Boo" and look at books
• he laughs everytime I sing "This Little Light of Mine" and "The Wheels on the Bus"
• loves his sister and thinks she is so funny. He is always giggling at her.
• he is very ticklish. His belly, his neck, his arms, his things, everywhere he is ticklish. SO funny!
• is a Momma's boy. He loves his Mommy!!
• is our future worship leader. He watches his Uncle B lead singing and gets so excited. He bounces, waves his arms and sings (screams) everytime he sees my brother leading worship.
• loves to watch his busy little boy cousins Hudson and Kayoln. He is just mesmerized by them.
• his newest thing....tilting his head to the side and giving you a BIG smile. Sweetest thing EVER!!!!!

He is our sweet laid back little guy and being his Mommy and Daddy is the best blessing we could ever imagine.
