Update on Hudson

Bryan and Steph received a call from their cardiologist yesterday afternoon. The news is bittersweet. The board at TCH has decided that Hudson will need to have a 2nd surgery. There is indeed an obstruction in the right ventricle of his heart and is causing turbulence in the blood flow. There is no rush for surgery and have decided that they can hold off until the Spring or Summer of 2010. Dr. Charles Fraser, chief of congenital heart surgery at TCH, is wanting to meet with them in the next couple of weeks to discuss the surgery and explain to them the actual procedure in detail. Prayers have been answered in that this condition is not life threatening and that it can be put off until cold and flu season is actually over. With Steph being a teacher, having the surgery in the summer will work out perfect for her and staying home with him during recovery. Please continue to keep Hudson and our family in your daily prayer life. We know that he could not be in better hands and we are so blest to have access to the one of the top pediatric hospitals in the country and have the best cardiotharacic surgeon available to assist with the procedure!
