I L-O-V-E The Bachelor!!! Anyone with me on this? (Secret obsession?) My friend Glenna and I are O-B-S-E-S-S-E-D with the new Bachelor, airline pilot Jake Pavelka from where else? TEXAS!!!! Dallas, Texas to be exact! That's right ladies...you gals that have never been to Texas..this is what you are missing!!! HA!

He is so sweet and cheesy, it is hard not to cheer for him! If you keep up with the Bachelor/Bacherlorette show, you know that he was on last season of the Bachelorette and made it to the final 4, but was sent home early..way too early. What was Jillian thinking? Well he has returned to find himself true love and we are rooting for him till the finish. I have decided that since this is one of my many tv obsessions....ridiculous, I know....I have no other option but to blog about it! Ha! Every Tuesday, after Monday nights episode, I will do my best (notice "do my best"...I do have a set of twins at home) to make my prediction as a result of each Rose Ceremony, who I think the final Bachelorette will be. As of today...Glenna and I predict......
Alli, the Account Manager from Williamstown, MA. She seems so sweet, down to earth and easy going. One thing...she is terrified of flying! What? And she wants to fall in love with an airline pilot? He promises to help her get over her fear of flying. We'll see! Stay tuned till next week to see what we predict for Jake's future!!!

I watched it last night (while Alex sat and rolled his eyes at me for watching it) There were some WEIRDOS on there and he kept at least one of them - I know you know which one I'm talking about. (LOL) I'm thinking they have to keep at least one to keep things interesting. :)
Your kiddos are adorable!
Do you live in Dallas? We just found out that Jory's job is taking us to the DFW Metroplex! We lived in FW for a long time, but never Dallas.
Hi Melissa,
I found you from your comment on the polka dots and pirates blog. Congratulations on your little miracles! I, too, am named Melissa and my husband and I also struggled with fertility treatments. We are blessed to have a 18 month old son named Hudson and a 6 month old son named Bryce. Funny how it took 3 years to get pregnant with Hudson and three months with Bryce. Sorry for babbling, my point in writing is Hudson's first birthday was themed Thing 1 and Thing 2. I got beautiful shirts made from Rachel at Goldenshop on ETSY. Hudson was Thing 1 and my belly was Thing 2. The entire design was made of fabric and turned out great. I'd be happy to email you pics of the party if you're intereted and just maybe you can get some ideas. Take care and have a wonderful new year!
I had to stop watching reality t.v. because I got hooked on EVERYTHING - including the Bachelor! That one's not that bad, but I also got hooked on shows like Tempation Island...lol. So, I had to tell myself, no more!
I know what you mean about The Bachelor, it's easy to get hooked. But now I vote for ladies who will create the most drama(I know, it's not nice), so I hoped the 'Michelle' girl would stay on.LOL. I'm going to have to read you blog as I am planning to start iVF.
I don't usually watch The Bachelor, but did on Monday. She is my pick too! I liked her mucho!
