Baby Swap

This weekend, Bryan and Steph decided to take on the challenge of an overnight stay with the twins. They took the wee ones on Friday and Sean and I took Hudson. What a nice break it was! Hudson was so good and I think he LOVED that he had us all to himself without Brynlee and Chance! He loves them, but I think he gets tired of sharing all of us with them. He was the only child for a couple of years and was spoiled rotten, now he has to share the rottenness! HA! We had so much fun! We played in the playroom with all of the baby toys and he acted so silly! He loves to be videoed and to have his picture taken (um, I think he gets that from his Aunt Mel). So as soon as I whipped out my new camera, the silliness was on. He was dancing, playing a little guitar, jumping all around and cracking up laughing at himself. I'll attach the video tonight!

Uncle Sean came home from work and we took him out for Mexican food, then for ice cream. When we got home, Sean went to bed, he had to work Saturday morning and H and I just hung out together. We played, watched Elmo and fell asleep on the couch! I finally took him to bed in the spare bedroom and slept there with him. He is a crazy sleeping man...he was all over the place. Steph said that he would not fall off the bed, but there were a few times that I questioned her. He never fell off, but he hung off a few times and scared me half to death! HA! I had to pull him up so his whole body would be back on the bed! The next morning, we got up, laid on the couch for a few and watched Mickey Mouse and snuggled...he is a sweet cuddlier in the morning! We then brushed our teeth, (his favorite thing to do. He has 3 toothbrushes at our house) got dressed and headed off to our favorite place....Target!!!! It was so such a fun time just he and I. We used to hang out together so much before the Wee Ones were born and it was some much needed nephew and Aunt time! When I arrived to pick up the twins and drop off Hudson, they were so good. Steph said they slept all night, ate very well and were so good. They love Aunt Steph and Uncle B and light up every time they see them. It was a nice trade off and I hope that we do it again soon!
