A walker and a crawler
So in one week the Wee Ones both reached significant milestones. Tuesday afternoon, the Wee Ones stayed with Steph and Hudson until I got home. When I arrived, Bryan and Steph said that at one point, Brynlee was crying because Steph was holding Chance. Trying to get to "her" Aunt Steph, she took 3 steps all by herself!!!! They were so excited that they got to see her walk and thinking that she had already done that for us, they were so excited to share the news....well, she had not already taken steps for us. We officially did not see our baby girl take her first steps. Crazy girl walking for her Aunt Steph and Uncle B, and not her Momma and Daddy! hee!hee! Later that evening, she took a few steps for me a few different times and she was so proud of herself. She would stand there and just smile and clap!!! She is so funny!!! All throughout the weekend, she would get a little confidence built up and she would take a few steps, but only on her terms. She is so hard headed and will only do it when she wants to. We can put her down on her feet to stand up and she will just stand there and stare and smile and not move a muscle. She might take some steps and she might just flop down to her bottom. As soon as she gets some more confidence, she will be taking off. I have a feeling that we will have a professional walker on our hands soon!!!
3 days before Chance starts PT for his hip muscle tone, he has decided to crawl! The first time he did it, I kind of thought it was a fluke, because he was trying to get to one of his toys to pull up. All week, he would do the full crawl just once getting to something to pull up on, but then would go back to his scooter crawl! So I kind of just disregarded it as crawling, but all of a sudden on Saturday...he took off and is now crawling all over the place. The first time he did it, you would have thought we had won the lottery!! I scooped him up, was screaming "Good boy!", hugging him and jumping all around. I know he was thinking, "Dang Momma, what in the world is wrong with you?" Not too sure of what he did, but he knew it was something good, because he was smiling and so proud of himself!!! We do have our first appointment with the PT tomorrow. They are coming to our home and I am just praying that with him suddenly crawling, they will think I have lost my mind and I am an over-reactive Mother. (Fine by me) and they will decide that he does not need PT or need as much as we thought! That is what I am praying for. Still keep my baby boy in your prayers tomorrow!!!!
We are so proud of the Wee Ones and know that our lives are about to drastically change. Hopefully Momma will loose some weight chasing the Wee Ones around. Hee!Hee!
Still trying to get some video of them both. Stay tuned for pics and hopefully to come!!
