15 Months Old

This post is a little early, but due to the upcoming events with Hudson, I decided to go ahead and post about the Wee Ones 15 months happenings a few days early. They are getting so big and amaze us more and more everyday! I cannot believe how quickly time is flying by, I just want it to stand still a little bit longer. (The pics posted are from our photo shoot in Galveston a few weeks ago! Enjoy!)

Mr. Man, you are doing so much these days:

• you are trying to eat with a spoon....still getting the hang of it, but not quite there yet! you always end your meal with food in your hair, ears, eyelashes and nose! you are a true little boy..never mind being messy!
• you are into EVERYTHING! you are constantly getting into your drawers in you nursery and unloading all of the clothes. you love to help mommy with laundry (unfolding it after i fold it)
• you are crawling everywhere and are getting stronger every day
• you are doing so well at PT and you love Mrs. Debbie. You never make a fuss when she is working with you and she is so pleased with your progress after every session.
• your favorite word is Ball (of course, you are your Father's child)
• you are always talking and your vocabulary is progressing. Your words include: ball, Bubba (that is what Sister calls you), bye, hi, book, Da-da, Mama, Papa and Hudson. You can and will occasionally sign "milk" when you are thirsty.

• you are so sweet and have the cutest giggle and belly laugh I have ever heard
• you love to be tickled and thrown up in the air
• you love for us to chase you and will take off like a speed of lightening if you hear us say, "I'm gonna get you...I'm gonna get you." You just crack up laughing and move as fast away from us as you can!
• you are a little fish and love the water...rather it is the big pool, our pool in the backyard, swimming lessons, the bath tub or your water table, you love the Splash Splash!

• you are a Momma's boy, but you love your Daddy and always smile as soon as he walks into the room.
• you are the sweetest thing when you wake up in the mornings. When we walk into your room, you are standing up in your bed and you get so excited when you see us, you jump up and down and then throw yourself down cracking up! You are so funny!
• you are starting to get some anxiety when we leave the room without. You notice that we are out of sight and you flip out. You do not like to be in a room alone AT ALL.
• you are not my temper tantrum thrower and it is no holds bar when you are mad. Not sure why you started these, but you are just as dramatic as your sister!
• everyone says that you either look just like Daddy or Hudson and Uncle B! Some people say you may resemble your Grammy a little bit too! We just think you are the cutest thing no matter who you look like.
• you are adjusting to the church nursery some and do not cry as much. Trying to get you prepared for MDO in the Fall.
  

• you are such a good eater and drinker. you do make a big mess when eating, but you eat mostly anything that we give you. you love yogurt, milk, cheerios, cheese, chicken, turkey, tuna fish, blueberries, bananas, sweet potatoes and peas.
• you have 7 teeth in that little mouth of your
• and you love to bit us with them. when you get mad, you open your mouth as big as you can and plant your teeth on your prey (your sister's leg and arms mostly)
• you are such a snuggler and will lay your head down us all the time. you fight sleep, but are pretty good about going down for naps and night-night. Our nightly routine is brushing teeth, reading 2 books, singing a song, getting a ball for you to hold, turning out the lights and going to sleep. you are pretty set on your nightly routine.
• you love to brush your teeth and try everything you can for Mommy to let you do it yourself. i brush them really good for you and then you take the toothbrush and and go to down chewing on it.
• you love your playroom and think you are so big playing in the big toy drawers. you love to throw ALL toys, bang and hit anything you can (including your sister and Chloe'), and love musical toys.
• you do not watch much tv, but every once in a while, something will catch your attention for a minute or two.
• you think you are so big and should sit in big people chairs. you get the biggest smile on your face when we put in you a big chair.
  
  

Little Miss Priss:

• you are such a happy little girl with the BIGGEST personality. you do not always show your personality around people, but when you feel comfortable enough, you shine.
• you have the most contagious smile and sweetest little giggle
• you love to eat but are starting to become a little picky these days. you have decided that you are not too fond of veggies and I am having the hardest time getting you back on orange and yellow foods. you love blueberries (they are your favorite), bananas, chicken, turkey, milk, flavored water, cheerios, cheese and tuna fish sandwiches
• you are feeding yourself with a spoon and are really starting to get the hang of it

• you are walking everywhere and are starting to get really good and steady on your feet
• you are a little shy around people that you do not know and it takes a few times of being around people for you to warm up to them
• you are the definition of Momma's girl! you are attached to me at all times. I have been told that your Aunt Steph was the same way and she turned out just fine, so I am not too worried
• your vocabulary is slowly growing. you love to babble and I know that once you start talking, you will never stop. your vocabulary includes: Da-da, Mama, Bubba, thank you, bye-bye (along with waving), hi, and you can sign "milk" when you are thirsty.
• you love to give kisses and will do open mouth and close mouth. you love to kiss and love on your brother...him not so much!
• you sleep with 4 babies in your bed and 2 blankets and cannot sleep without each of them there.
• you are a climber and think that you can climber up and down anything. you love to climb and sit in a big chair and think that you are so big when we let you sit in a big chair.

• everyone says that you either look just like Daddy or Nana. We think you are gorgeous no matter who you look like! I will say that I am very happy that you have my dark hair and Daddy's green eyes!!!! I always wanted a dark headed, green eyed girl!!
• you are very independent (most of the time) and are becoming a little girl and not so much a baby anymore. You recently got a big girl haircut and I cannot believe how much it made your look change!
• your 2nd big girl haircut, you sat in the chair all by yourself and did not move a muscle while Ms. Chelle trimmed your bangs. Big girl!!!
• you love to "clean out" your closet by pulling everything out of it and into the middle of your bedroom floor. your such a big helper! HA!
• you are a fit thrower and have been for a while. you are getting a little less dramatic, but you are still one drama queen Little Miss Priss!
• you love to fake cry and cough! it is so funny

• you love your Daddy and smile so big when he walks into the room.
• you are huge fan of Aunt Steph and want to do with anyone when she is around
• you are not yet the biggest fan of water. you do great in the bath tub and love to play during bath time, but you are still unsure of the water table and the swimming pools. you are getting better are swimming lessons and I think you have made up your mind that you have no choice in the matter of swimming lessons. HA!
• you love your playroom and think you are so big when standing up and digging in the big toy drawers. you love kissing on your babies, throwing things, dancing to the musical toys and puzzles!
• you are a dancing queen just like your mommy and will shake your booty to any kind of music, even Jesus Loves Me! hee!hee!
• you are getting better in the nursery at church and are hopefully adjusting since you will be starting MDO in the Fall!

Our precious Wee Ones, you are growing so big so fast and we wish that we could stand still in time. Our prayers for you both are to always stay strong and healthy, become strong faithful Christians and leaders, follow your dreams, stand up for what you believe in and always be true to your self!!! We love you both and thank God everyday for the most amazing last 15 months that He has blessed us with!
