22 months old

The Wee Ones turned 22 months old in January and are getting so big! They are developing the most hilarious personalities and are growing into little people. (sniff sniff) Cannot believe our babies are 2 months shy of being 2 year olds! Time just flies and doesn't stop!

Mr. Man is getting so big and improving in every way. He is running around everywhere and really starting to add more words to his vocabulary. He is hilarious and makes us laugh non-stop. He is constantly running around screaming as loud as he can and will body slam the closest item he comes in contact with. Rather it be his sister, our dog, the couch, or a stuff animal, he is all about wrestling anything to ground. He is all boy and is very rough! He will go up behind Brynlee and pull her down on top of him by her waist, roll her over and pin her down. They both just laugh and scream! It's so funny to watch! His vocabulary is slowly progressing, but he is adding more and more words. Our specialist is not too worried about him and says that he is developing at a slower pace, but is progressing with every visit. He is running everywhere, still has a few issues with stepping up and down on steps, but is making progress. For a while he would not even step into the grass and now he runs through it like no big deal! He still has a ways to catch up with Brynlee, but he is doing great and we could not be more proud of him. We do have an issue with him biting when he gets frustrated and it is really bad. Thank goodness for us, he only does it at home and has not bitten anyone at MDO. We are trying to break it, but we are not having much luck!!! Any ideas?

Miss Priss is our DIVA girl!!! She is so prissy with her princess heels, purses, tiaras, baby dolls, strollers and lipstick, but can also throw and catch a ball, loves trucks and hammering on the work bench. I'm proud that she can be a girly girl, but hang with the boys too! This girl's personality is booming and she is a riot. She says the funniest stuff and never ceases to amaze me with her vocabulary and putting 2 or 3 words together. She can be the sweetest thing, blowing kisses, giving big hugs, throwing out a big all teeth cheesy smile and say, "I wuv ew", then turn around and scream at the top of her lungs, shoot you a look from you know where, and hit you in the face in just a minute. I hear she gets that from me, but I'm not sure how much of that is true, MOM!!! HA! She is hard, let me tell you! Thank goodness I had Chance along with her, because if Miss Priss would have come first, we would have been DONE!!!! She officially hit the terrible 2's about 3 months ago and it just keeps getting worse. She does not like to sleep and refuses to sleep through the night without waking up at least once and screaming for me!!! It is very frustrating...any suggestions? Will it get better??? Her favorite words are, "NO!" and "Mine!" Surprised???? Typical girl!!!!

They love their bouncy house that Noni and Pop gave them for Christmas and they would "jump, jump" everyday if we would let them. Santa brought them a red vintage retro kitchen and they LOVE that thing, too. Never would have imagined they would love that thing as much as they do. A normal sound in our house is pots and pans banging together and the slamming of the kitchen doors. They play in there for hours and cook us up all kinds of fabulous dishes...their speciality.....cookies!!! HA! They love to dance and sing songs like the ABCs, "This Little Light of Mine", and Itsy Bitsy Spider. It is the cutest thing ever! They dance to any music that comes on and just smile and laugh the whole time. They have really turned into such sweet little toddlers and make us smile every minute of the day!

This little guy needs a haircut so bad, but we are so in love with his curly long locks that we are having a hard time taking him to get it cut. It's crazy, wild and un-manageable, but oh so cute and we are so scared that the curls will disappear when cut!!! It's so cute uh????

HAPPY 22 MONTH BIRTHDAY WEE ONES!!!
