Better late then never.....we did celebrate Easter with our families and were so busy over the Easter weekend that it has taken me over a week to catch up on our blog. We had wonderful celebrations with our families and are so blessed to have such wonderful parents, in laws, siblings and extended families. We enjoyed a celebration with our Moms, Papa Moose, Aunt Jan and my brother's family on Saturday. Here is a picture I took of the kids table. For some reason I did not get a pic of the adults table or the food. But I had it decorated cute and we had tons of yoummy food. Sean made a brisket and everyone brought delicious sides to go along with it!
We had an egg hunt in the backyard for Brynlee, Chance and Hudson. Hudson and Brynlee did all of the egg hunting....we could not get Chance out of his Uncle B's lap to save his life. So these two went running into the backyard with their baskets and searched for the eggs that the Easter Bunny had left.
After egg hunting and some hard playing in the backyard...they decided to take a look at all the goodies that everyone brought. The twins had 3 different Easter baskets each full of all kinds of stuff....clothes, toys, balls, shoes, jewelry, bubbles, playdough and some sweet treats!
Back to the playyard and bounce house for some serious playing. Even Nana crawled into the bounce house and had some serious fun with her grandbabies. Could not pass up this photo op of them together!!!! Too funny!!! A moment Nana will always treasure!!!
It was such a hot afternoon, that we decided to strip the kiddos down and let them run through the sprinkler. Chance and Hudson loved it, but Miss Priss not so much! She is not a huge fan of water in her face these days. So she would only run through if Nana would go with her! Everytime Chance would run through, he would scream at the top of his lungs and run for dear life giggling. It was so funny...he was so scared, but could not resist running through it!
This little smiley face is loving the camera these days. He smiles and will strike a pose every time that camera is in his face. Gets that from his Aunt Mel!!! HA!
