The Love-ies were so excited to see what the Easter Bunny had left for them Sunday morning and the Easter Bunny has just as much fun getting the baskets together!. We have been talking about the Easter Bunny for a few weeks after their little episode with the big furry guy and have been trying to talk them into making friends with him, but we have been very unsuccessful. We kept telling them that he will bring them presents, but they really did not care. No way were they talking to him.
Brynlee keeps telling us that she wants a puppy (btw, we have one, but she does not like the twins and never has. HA!) So I think she sometimes feels as though they really do not have a pet and we have no plans of getting a new one. So after talking to her about why she wanted a puppy, we decided to get her a Fur Real Puppy, but we wanted to convince her to ask the Easter Bunny. For a week everyday...all day...she would tell us, "I want a puppy Momma, I want a puppy." We would say, "You better ask the Easter Bunny, he might bring you one." And her response EVERYTIME (with a little fear in her eyes) would be this, "Mommy do it! Daddy do it!" and we would say, "No, you ask him!" "NNOO Mommy do it." So funny! So we asked him and there was a puppy in her basket Easter morning! She was a little unsure of him at first and almost acted dramatically scared of the thing. I was a little frustrated about it, so we just left it alone and let the "puppy" be. By the time I got out of the shower for church, she had named him Jack and was carrying him around EVERYWHERE.
We always try to get them money for their banks every holiday so they can learn to save money and have a fun place to keep it. For their 1st birthday, my sister in law and brother in law gave them banks and they LOVE them. We cannot keep change anywhere in this house because they are constantly wanting to put money in their "Pigs". So they Easter Bunny left them some quarters and some dollar bills for their "pigs"!
Chance is still obsessed with Buzz and some sort of Buzz goes everywhere with us. So when we found Buzz bubble bath, we knew he would love it and would hopefully enjoy his baths more. (not wanting to take baths these days.)
