In It To End It

In April 2008, I had one of the most amazing experiences of my life (besides child birth, but that came later) I took part in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer and raised over $1800 for cancer research. The walk was a marathon and half (39.3 miles) two-day event with a lot of miles our feet, lots of blisters in our toes, gallons of water consumed, cheerleaders at every corner in Houston, alot of sweat and many many tears!!! It was a very challenging experience, but very rewarding in the end. I raised my money with lots of support from my family, friends, strangers that I had never meet and my biggest fan, my dear friend Paula! She was our team cheerleader the entire way and helped us raise an unbelievable amount of money! In 2008, the Bluebonnet Crusaders were the TOP fund raising team for the Houston walk! WHOOP!!!! Well, this year 2010, we plan to accomplish that same goal and again be #1! Women all over the world are diagnosed with Breast Cancer everyday (every 3 minutes to be exact) and we have to put a stop to it NOW! I have a daughter of my own and with Breast Cancer running so strongly in our genes, I want to do everything I can to help prevent my precious daughter and women everywhere from suffering from this disease. Please help me to accomplish my goal of raising $1800+ for Breast Cancer Research. This disease has touched every single one of our lives in some sort of way! Please be a part of In It To End It! and donate to my walk! Thank you for any support that you can provide. To donate to my cause, please click here. I will keep you all updated on my progress including how much I have raised and I am doing training to walk the 39.3 miles!
Thank you and God Bless!
