These day all the Wee Ones do is babble. They constantly have something to say that is very important and it just breaks my heart that we cannot understand them. They point at things they are wanting, but most of the time, they are just carrying on conversations with each other, themselves and occasionally with us. I am beginning to teach them sign language and have actually succeeded at teaching them to sign "milk" an they both do it pretty well and mostly at the right time. I have decided that it is time to start attempting to teach them names of our loved ones. They are pretty good at pointing to photos when we say their names and smiling really big at the mention of grandparents, cousins or aunts and uncles. They are both really fond of their 2 boy cousins Hudson & Kaylon...sorry sweet girl Kolbie, you do not make enough noise yet for them to notice you..soon enough precious! So I have been trying to teach them to say Hudson and Kaylon. When I mention Kaylon's name, they both smile really big and point at his photo hanging on the wall. I think his name might be a little difficult to pronounce for a while, and he may just end up with some crazy pronunciation from them. hee!hee! So we are slowly working on Hudson's name and again...Brynlee just smiles really big and says, "ohhh,ohh" and points. I think she is waiting for him to walk through the door or something..she gets very excited. But Chance is trying to say his name. He watches my mouth very closely as I say his name and tries to mimic me. I'll say H-ud-son...really slow and he will open his mouth really big and say, "Huuuuu-ton". It is the cutest thing. He is trying so hard and it is so funny! Chance may say Hudson before too long. I know I will have some disappointed Nanas, Grammy, Noni, Papa, Pop, and Aunts, but your time will all come. I promise. We work on all of your names daily, but for some reason Hudson seems to be the name of choice, for Mr. Man anyway! I think that Miss Priss is trying to say "thank you". Every time we hand her something, she always attempts to say something and it sounds the same every time. She will say it, I will say "Thank you," and she will shake her head, "yes". So I am hoping to get "thank you" out of her mouth soon! Would love for her to be so very polite at this age. Stay tuned for more words and signing to come!
