Festival of Lights 2010

We headed south to Moody Gardens in Galveston, to the annual Festival of Lights with Noni and Pop, Aunt Aimee, Uncle Ryan, Kaylon and Kolbie. Hoping to make this a Forey Family tradition, we packed up the kids and strolled through the streets of lights.

Everything was covered with lights with tons of animals, ballerinas, trucks, and nutcrackers all out of lights. The twins loved all of the bright colors and had so much fun running around with Noni and Pop and Kaylon and Kolbie.

Our precious babies had so much fun and did cooperate for a little picture taking. My little man does not like to sit too long, so not too many smiling shots of him.

Proud Noni and Pop with their favorite blessings!

1st Trip to Zoo

Last weekend was the Wee Ones first visit to the zoo and they did so well! Noni and Pop went with us and we had such a great time! They were so good and the weather turned out really nice. Brynlee is attached to her Noni and will not let her Noni out of sight. So poor Noni had to carry her a lot throughout the day, but I know that it makes Noni's day when B prefers her over me. hee!hee! We took so many photos and got some really great shots of the animals.

I think Noni and Pop enjoyed watching the Wee Ones getting excited about the animals.

There is a petting zoo area and so we left them out of the stroller and hang out a little bit. We found a goose that looked like Mother Goose. As you can tell, they enjoyed hanging onto the fence watching the goose walk around. At one point, she kept eyeing my babies fingers. Thank goodness for Daddy's parental instincts, he scooped them up as Mother Goose headed towards my babies hands hanging on the fence. YIKES! That would have been bad if she would have succeeded at getting a taste of my sweet baby fingers!

They loved this turtle statue. Brynlee screamed when we attempted to take her off the turtle before she was ready. She did not want anyone holding on to her or touching her while sitting on her little friend. Chance gets so mesmerized easily, that he was just fascinated by the whole thing. They were so good and had a great time!

They were worn out by the end of the day! So sweet uh???
Here's a few of some of my favorite shots I took of the animals. While taking photos of the tigers, I ran into a lady that was carrying around a camera with a lens that went on for miles and miles, an awesome professional camera, taking photos of the animals. She gave me a quick lesson on my camera and I am so thankful she did. She showed me a few things on my camera that I had no clue about. I would probably know more if I would read the manual, but that is just not my style. hee!hee! I was really excited about a few of my pics! Enjoy!

The zoo animals and the Wee Ones!!!
