Yesterday was our 35 week appointment and it went great! The babies are doing great. They are both head down and getting in position for delivery. Chance is quite a bit bigger then Brynlee and is further down. Looks like he may come first. But they both seem very ready to come and our fetal doc says that if we were to have them today, she feels pretty confident that they would not spend any time in the NICU at TCH. That is so unbelievably comforting to hear!!! Unfortunately, Dr. Ivey came in saying that we either have to deliver these babies this weekend at 35.5 weeks or wait until 37 weeks (March 10th) because he is going on vacation March 4th-9th and he must deliver these babies. We are a little upset and have been giving him a hard time about leaving while I am so close to delivery. So the plan is to either get these babies out this weekend or hold them in until the 10th and he will induce on the 11th. We are in love with Dr. Ivey and cannot imagine finishing this journey without him right by our sides. We really want him to be the one to deliver B&C, so we are going to pray that he is here if I go into labor myself or if we have to induce. All of the other docs at the Baylor Clinic are just a qualified and as wonderful as he is and I know that we would be in perfect hands if someone else has to deliver our sweet babies. Keep your fingers crossed that it is IVEY!!!! So...knowing that we could have babies arrive in just a little over 10 days, we are in major stress mode to get everything done. We have new living room furniture being delivered this weekend, crown molding going up in the nursery on Saturday and our front yard being landscape to prepare for the Spring. Lots going on in our house!!! We do have all of our car seats, swings, bouncies, etc together. We are all packed for the hospital and have the babies clothes packed and ready to go. So we are ready in case we go into labor this weekend. Please keep us all in your thoughts and prayers over the next few days!

Believe me when I say, when you go into labor, you wont care who is delivering the babies. You just want them out!!!!
Yikes, I am praying that you can hold off till your Dr. is back in town. I would feel the exact same you do...I would be really nervous if someone else had to deliver by baby that I did not know.
We will praying for it to all work out on the 11th for you guys. I am sure it will...you have had a perfect pregnancy.
Looks like ya'll have gotten lots of stuff down around there this weekend. The count down is on....
We can not wait to meet Chance and Brynlee.

WOW! Sounds like we will meet them soon. I am praying that it is Dr. Ivey that delivers the babies. I understand wanting the same Dr. all the way through. Love ya!
