An Amazing Fight

As some of you may know, my brother has a very good friend named Brad Wims that has been battling a rare form of bone cancer called Chondrosarcoma since 2007. He has undergone many treatments, massive surgeries and even did some study treatments over in Germany. He has a wife Jenny and two small children Zeke and Kaelyn. Yesterday afternoon, Brad lost his battle with cancer and God called him home to be with Him in heaven. This has been a difficult road for the Wims family and they have all fought strong and hard with lots of Faith and support. Please join me in keeping this family in your prayers in months to come as Jenny heals over the loss of her husband, the kids over the loss of their daddy and family and friends over the loss of a son and friend. I cannot even possibly imagine what Jenny has gone through over the past 3 years as she has watched her husband fight everyday of his life to just survive. If you have time, please read their blog and post a comment letting this family know that they are in your thoughts and prayers. http://thewims.blogspot.com/

Melissa, I cannot believe I just found your blog! My friend & I were on The Wims blog, from there, my friend had me click on "Hudson", because she thought she might know who that was. On his blog a picture of YOU was posted!! I instantly said "OH MY GOODNESS!!!!" I have looked for you on facebook. I have been wondering how you are. It's CRAZY how you and I were SO CLOSE for many, many years....then somehow completely lost touch. You are either a PROUD mother of twins right now or really close to it! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! I hope to keep in better touch! I love you dearly!
