4 months old...already!!!

My how time is flying by. Our sweet angels are 4 months old and are growing so quickly before our eyes. I cannot express to you how much of a blessing B&C are to us. God knew what he was doing having us wait 3 years to start our family. He was preparing our sweet angels and making them just perfect for us. Sean and I could not be more blessed at this very moment. Brynlee and Chance are growing and changing daily. They have brought such joy and laughter to our lives. We smile even more because of these two. Brynlee and Chance, you two amaze us everyday with how much you are growing and advancing in life. At 4 months, here is what you two are up to:



Chance:

* you weigh 13 pounds

* you are wearing size 2 diapers and 0-3 month clothes, but can still fit into some Newborn

* you are eating 6oz of formula at every feeding, but we have discovered you have Reflux and are now taking medicine to keep you from spitting up so much

* you can roll from your stomach to your back, which is how we are finding you every morning lately

* You love to smile and even wake up smiling (most of the time)

* You are new to the exersaucer world and you love it!!!

* You reach for toys, faces, anything that you can grab, even sister's hair

* You open your mouth when getting kisses from Mommy and that is one my favorite things

* You love to coo and giggle at us. You are a very happy little boy.

* But....you can throw some serious temper tantrums. When you are upset, you let us know!!

* You have started noticing sister and at times will smile when you see her

* You love your pacifier while sleeping and have discovered your hands can go in your mouth( we trying pulling hands out of your mouth, but we do not always catch you)

* You are very strong and can hold your head up for a long period of time while on your belly

* Your legs are very strong and sturdy and you love to stand up in our laps. I have hard time getting you to bend your legs to sit down

* You are getting better everyday with bath time and are making it easier for me to bath you

* You love to hear me sing The B-i-b-l-e, The Wheels on the Bus, Jesus Loves Me and Itsy Bitsy Spider. You smile or laugh when Mommy sings to you

* We play Peek-a-Boo and you crack up everytime

* You took your first road trip to Austin and did a great job (you did cry through the wedding though)

* You are great little shopper and have become such a great sport when Mommy wants to change your clothes numerous times a day just to see you in them.





Brynlee:

* You weigh 13lbs.

* You are wearing size 2 diapers and 0-3 months clothes (you can wear a few 3-6 months too)

* You are eating 6oz. at every feeding and are probably ready for 8oz and maybe a little cereal.

* You are such a chatterbox, you talk more and more everyday. Daddy is your favorite person to talk to and he could listen to you all day

* You have discovered that when you reach for something, you can grab it and put it in your mouth.

* You like the exersaucer okay, but will only stay for a few minutes before wanting out

* You are very strong and can kick your legs like crazy when you are upset. You push your legs up against things as hard as you can.

* You are not too fond of standing up like brother is. You will do it for a couple of seconds and then your legs give out and you are done.

* You are still not too excited about tummy time, but you have a very strong neck and will hold your head up when on your belly

* You have recently discovered brother and you love to smile at him and grab at him. You have poked him in the eye numerous times.

* When you are laying next to brother, you always manage to grab his hand or put your hand on his head. We think that you are trying to protect him and let him know that you are there. It is the sweetest thing!


*I'm not sure how much you love to hear Mommy singing and dancing, but I do it anyway. Sometimes you smile and sometimes you give me a look that says, "Mommy, please stop singing and dancing, you are not funny."


* You are pretty good about throwing temper tantrums lately right along with your brother.


* You are my little doll, I love to dress you and put huge bows and flowers on your head. You are such a sport about it. You're Mommy's Little Bowhead!


* You took your first road trip and attended your first wedding this month. You were so good on the road and at the wedding.


* You love your pacifier and have recently discovered that you can do the same thing with your hands. Your hands are always in your mouth until we are pulling them out and you are constantly drooling. You may be teething pretty soon!


Brynlee and Chance you are the greatest blessings that Daddy and I could ever ask for. We are so blessed and thankful that God gave us two very healthy twins. You will never know the joy that the two of you have brought to our lives just over the past 4 months. We are so excited to watch the two of you grow into your individual selves in the many years to come. We cannot imagine our lives without you! We love you!
