First 4th of July
This year was the twins first 4th of July. We attend a wedding on Austin this past weekend and celebrated the 4th with many family that have never met B&C. They got so much attention and lots of love. As you can tell, they were dressed for the occasion and very cute I must say. Brynlee's patriotic bow was made and given to her from her Aunt Tish. She made Brynlee lots of bows that she will be showing off very soon. Thanks Aunt Tish for the bows! The twins were so great on the drive to Austin. I actually sat in the back seat between them the whole way. It made the drive so much easier and little quieter I think. Thanks Mom and Aunt Jan for not getting frustrated when the babies had their occasion meltdowns and there were a few over the course of the weekend. But for the most part, they were great! They did pretty well at their first wedding to ever attend. Chance got a little fussy, but it was feeding time and I try very hard to keep them on their schedule not matter the circumstances. But all in all, they were excellent. We did lots of shopping, spent lots of money and had a great visit with Nana and Aunt Jan. We did miss the fireworks and probably for the first time in my some odd 30 years of life (hee!hee!), I did not see fireworks for the 4th. But I had 2 very tired babies and Mommy was very tired too. Although, we did not get to celebrate with Daddy, the twins had a great first 4th of July! Click here to see more photos of their day. (more to come)

I can see why you're looking so lean so fast Melissa! You have to be growing some guns to carry those chunks ;) Really you all look great.
