Labor Day Weekend

I hope that everyone enjoyed their holiday weekend. 3 day weekends are the best! We had a great, but busy time this past weekend. Sean had Fantasy Football draft with his Dad and brother, while us girls (Football Widows) went shopping all day Saturday. Now that football season has officially started and Fantasy Football is on its way, the twins and I will be on our own every Sunday after church. Thank goodness for the other FWs in our life, or we would be bored stiff at home all alone on Sundays.

Saturday night was a great time!!! Some of my family came into town from Dallas, so all of us cousins got together and partied at the Carnes'. We had so much fun. I forget how crazy we all get when we're all together. It was alot of fun, even though not all of the cousins were able to come, we still had a blast!

Sunday was our cousin Dwain and Marlas' little girl Peyton's 1st birthday party. She had a huge Baby Einstein themed birthday bash and it was so fun. Marla did a fabulous job decorating and organizing the party. She set up these cute little stations all throughout the yard that had different art projects and favors on them. She had a table full of wooden picture frames with paint colors, brushes, and foam stickers for decorating. There were tables with beach balls for each child, stickers, bubbles, water noodles, and wagon rides. All sorts of fun things for the kiddos (and adults) to do. We all hung out at the pool, ate good food and just relaxed. The twins swam in the pool with Papa and Nana Holly and did so well. They are not at all scared, even when Daddy dunks their heads in the water. So brave!!! Hopefully we have two little fish on our hands. I think that Peyton really enjoyed her 1st birthday party and it is hard to believe that she is already a year old. Happy Birthday Peyton!!!
