8 months...can you believe?

I cannot believe our babies are 8 months old...TODAY!!!! I am finally doing a post on time for once! YEAH for Mommy! My sweet Brynlee and Chance, I am so amazed how much you have grown. You both amaze us everyday with your different personalities and milestones that you reach daily. Brynlee, you finally cut your first tooth (in the middle of church no less), you had a difficult time and it was a long process, but it finally came through. YIPPEE!! Chance, you have 2 of your bottom teeth and seem to be working on a third. You are such a drool face these days and you chew of everything. Hopefully that third tooth will make it's way through soon. You are both such good eaters. You love your fruits and veggies and as of now are vegetarians. I have not introduced any meats to you yet, but plan to do that very soon. You love Yo Baby Yogurt (thanks to Laura for introducing it to us) and wagon wheels. You eat your veggies and fruit so well. This month, my goal is to introduce some mushy table foods like carrots and green beans for you to feed yourself. You love both of these pureed, so let's see if you enjoy feeding them to yourselves. I have started giving you both water out of a sippy cup and you LOVE water. Haven't really got the whole sippy cup thing down yet, but we are working on it. You both babble so much! You say Dada, Mama, and gaga! We love to hear what comes out of your mouths! Right now, we are working on "Bye-Bye" and clapping to "Yeah". Still a work in progress, but we will get there. You are both sitting up great and will fall forward to get into the crawl position from sitting up. You will get on all fours, rock back and forth, but just will not take that move and crawl. You are both little "scooters" and are so talented that you can even scoot backwards! Hopefully crawling will come soon. You love to play on the floor and take toys from each other, pull hair hair and grab each others' pacis. Lots of tears are shed during playtime. You have a dozen toys on the mat and both always want Lola the poodle! It is quite funny! You are both very happy babies and smile most of the time. Chance, you are the happy one and smile pretty much at everyone. Brynlee, you are a little bit more difficult to make smile. Not too sure what you are thinking when people are making faces at you and talking in funny voices to get you to smile, but you are a hard one at times. For the most part though, you are both very happy babies. You have both been sleeping through the night and in your own cribs for months. But lately, nighttime has become quite a chore in our house. Chance, you fall asleep pretty easy and normally stay asleep through the night or at least until about 4:30 or so. Brynlee, has parties every night and refuses to be rocked, sung to or laid down. Putting you to sleep is a very long, all night process. We usually get you guys ready for bed around 8pm and in bed my 8:30, Brynlee you party until about 10pm or later. Very difficult and frustrating. I pray this is just a phase my little girl! You are both such blessings to us and we love you more than you could ever imagine! We pray everyday that you stay healthy and safe! We love you! Happy 8 Month Birthday!!!!
