New Baby

We have a new addition to the family!!! My brother in law and sister in law, Ryan and Aimee welcomed their sweet baby girl Kolbie Michelle Forey into the world on March 4th. She weighed 6 lbs. 7 oz and is just perfect! She has a head full of dark hair, Mommy's face and Daddy's nose! She is gorgeous! Big brother Kaylon is so excited, but still a little unsure of her. I know that he will be the best big brother! Mommy and baby headed home on Sunday the 7th and home with her family for a couple of days. Aimee was back in the hospital on Thursday with a very high fever and a bad infection. After lots of tests and failed antibiotics, they discovered that she had an internal staph infection. She was very sick and they could not find an antibiotic to get rid of the infection and fever. By Saturday the 13th, they were able to find an antibiotic that started reducing her fever and the infection and she was released on Monday to go home...but on one condition. She could go home, but with a Pic Line (IV) to be worn for at least 7 days and she will have to administer the meds into the line herself or she could stay in hospital on the IV there. She opted to go home and try the Pic Line. As of today, (Tuesday March 16th)she is feeling better and is at home with her new baby and family. But nothing is ever that easy, Ryan now has a bad stomach virus that has hit all of us over the past few weeks. Please keep them in your daily prayers as she still has some healing to do!!!
