Nana and I took the kids to see Elmo and His Healthy Heroes for Valentine's Day. Do you think they were excited??
Well you cannot tell from this picture....but they were in complete AWWWW and in a major trance as soon as the characters walked out on stage. Here, they have no idea what is going on. All they know is that everyone is wearing Elmo t's, they keep hearing "Ig Burd" on the loud speaker, but he is no where in a sight and Mommy is smiling from ear to ear!Bert and Ernie were the first to walk out on stage and I had no clue that my small vocabulary using son could say Bert and Ernie so clearly and over and over again! He was beside himself when those two walked on stage and prepared himself for the big red furry monster and was in amazement when he saw his BFF in person....again!!!!
Little Miss Priss was in a trance the whole time and would get very upset when Abby or Big Bird would leave the stage. i think the large yellow bird has become her newest obsession on the Sesame Street. She still loves Elmo and Abby, but never leaves the big yellow guy unnoticed. Here she is standing up dancing to the music. She loves to shake her booty and is so cute while doing it!!!
If and when Elmo would exit the stage, this is what we saw...........
not a happy little boy! He would yell Elmo, point, look over at me, and yell until he came back on stage! He does the same thing when he is not on the tv screen. In his mind, Elmo should be in every scene of a movie! hee!hee!
The show was over and these 2 stood at our seats just hoping for more! They had so much fun and it was worth every second, every penny spent, and every tear for Elmo!
I had to add a picture of our favorite characters from the show just for memory sake. Nana and I had no idea you two could pronounce every single one of these characters names without us.
Should we be proud or worried that you are watching too much Sesame Street? HA! What a priceless day that Nana and I will never forget!!!!
