Happy Birthday America

We had a small get together on the 4th and had such a great time. A few of our close friends and family helped to celebrate the 4th with us. We had lots of food, beverages, games, and fireworks. From our house, we have a great view of 3 different sets of fireworks shows. We all set out on our driveway and watched the fireworks. We had a few of our own to explode in the sky as well. Our neighbors Shane and Shane got the bright idea to purchase a massive load of fireworks and have a show right in our own front yard. (yes they are both Shane and Shane and then we have Sean. Very confusing when the 3 of us wives are yelling at our husbands.) After a view lights are exploded in the sky, a few scared children (Hudson included) are back into the house, the Fire Marshall for League City pulls up to our house. Never seen so many people "innocent people" run into the house before. The cop walks up the driveway and asks who the fireworks belong and one of the Shane neighbors takes all of the blame. He is slapped with a ticket and a fine up to $2000. It would not be a Forey Get Together without the cops showing up at some point. They frequent our get togethers quite often, it's very embarrassing. The $2000 fine did not put a damper on our party for too long....we had people over until wee hours of the morning.
